  • Featured listing subscriptions that enhance your visibility on the directory and optimise your listing for AI discovery.
  • A client dashboard to manage your listing details, description, and social links.

4. Subscriptions and Payment

  • Featured listings are available on a monthly subscription basis.
  • Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your payment details.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled.
  • Prices are displayed inclusive or exclusive of VAT as applicable.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through the client dashboard (Manage Subscription).
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Your listing will remain active until then.
  • We do not offer refunds for partial months unless required by law.
  • Consumers in the UK and EU have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase, unless the service has already commenced with your consent.

6. Your Content

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide in your listing.
  • You must not submit false, misleading, or defamatory content.
  • By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it on five-stars.com and in our data feeds.
  • We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms or is otherwise inappropriate.

7. Business Data

Business listings are populated using publicly available data from Google Business Profiles. If you believe your business data is inaccurate, contact us at support@five-stars.com and we will correct or remove it promptly.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on five-stars.com, including the logo, design, and code, is the intellectual property of Five Stars and may not be reproduced without written permission.

9. AI Discovery — No Guarantee of Results

Five Stars structures and optimises your business listing to give it the best possible chance of being cited by AI systems such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and others. However, we do not guarantee that your business will appear in any AI-generated response, search result, or recommendation.

AI systems operate independently and make their own decisions about what content to surface. Factors including, but not limited to, algorithm changes, training data updates, and the nature of user queries are outside our control.

By purchasing a featured listing, you acknowledge that you are paying for optimisation and preparation of your listing for AI discovery — not for guaranteed placement or visibility in any specific AI platform.

10. General Disclaimer

Five Stars is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we are not responsible for any loss or damage arising from your use of the platform.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email. Continued use of Five Stars after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
